Music for weddings and parties

Ted Knight's bands play music that people of all ages can enjoy. There's pop, rock, reggae, jazz, blues, Latin and country, from a duo to a twenty-piece big band. Demos

Ted plays for Florida parties, weddings, dances, concerts and corporate events, in Tampa and Jacksonville as well as Miami and Boca Raton. His music is now available anywhere in the southeastern US.

Knight Music uses real drums and horns instead of recorded backgrounds. Ted sings from his keyboard, and additional vocalists are available. Click images to enlarge.

Pop, rock and reggae

Crosswind plays artists like Santana, the Eagles, Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet as well as pop hits from the 50s to the 80s.

Combos

The Ted Knight Trio includes piano, bass and drums. The quartet adds sax or guitar. TK Express is a keyboard-and-drums duo.

Ted's quintet includes trumpet and sax. The quintet has a CD of jazz standards for sale entitled Beautiful Love.

Specialty bands

The Dixie Ramblers play Dixieland jazz, patriotic music, and songs of the big band era. Orquesta Nostalgia plays Latin music such as mambos, cha-chas, merengues, rhumbas and boleros. Ted also leads bands for St. Patrick's Day, Oktoberfest, and Christmas.

Wedding ceremony music

The Knight Music Trio includes flute, cello, and piano or keyboard. Ted also leads chamber ensembles with violin and trumpet. Repertoire can include Lennon and McCartney as well as Bach and Mozart.

Brides and grooms often combine classical music for the ceremony with a band or DJ for the reception.

iPod mixes

Ted is an experienced radio programmer and mobile DJ. iPod mixes are included on band breaks at no extra charge.

His library covers a wide variety of styles including rock, hip-hop, jazz, disco, oldies, Latin, country, klezmer and nostalgia.

People and places
