Little Club tradition
Knight Music is a tradition at the Little Club in the Town of Gulf Stream.
Ted Knight's bands have played several times a year at the club since the 1980s, including private parties as well as dinner dances like the annual Halloween party.
The World's Smallest Big Band is pictured playing for New Year's Eve. It's Ray Oram on sax, Jim Osterman on drums, Dave Gibble on trumpet, and Ted on keyboard.
The mix goes from swing, jazz, blues and standards to an occasional rock and roll or calypso number for variety, and the dancers love it. Ted enjoys playing for people who really appreciate his music.
Club manager Douglas Dugan has reserved Knight Music for the 2011 Hallween party.
