Knows the standards, a fine swing and Dixieland jazz player.
Originally from Rochester, New York. Played with Ted's trio at Erny's, the Delray Beach restaurant and jazz club, in the late 1980s.  
Randy and Forrest SonntagRandy and Forrest Sonntag  trumpet, flugelhorn
Ted's FAU classmate has played with him since the 1970s. His son Forrest, a gifted young player, did his first gig with Ted at age 14 and has since played with him in Lantana, Tampa and Boca Raton
Sy PrywellerSy Pryweller  drums, trumpet
Veteran big band drummer, former director of jazz studies at
Palm Beach Community College. Plays trumpet with the strolling version of the Dixie Ramblers, has worked with Ted since the 1980s. 
Tim WaltersTim Walters  trumpet, flugelhorn
Head of the Jazz Rats big band at Florida Atlantic University,
Ted's alma mater. Played with Ted in Ft. Lauderdale and Pompano Beach
Dave TomaselloDave Tomasello  bass
Covers pop and rock as well as jazz and swing on electric or
acoustic bass, knows the standards. Has worked with Ted since 1979. 
Mike TerryMike Terry  trumpet, cornet, trombone, euphonium, tuba, vibes
Plays the standards and Dixieland jazz, taught notable low brass players with U.S. service bands. Has played corporate gigs with Ted in Naples, Key Largo, and Palm Beach. 
Don ZentzDon Zentz  sax, flute, clarinet
Jazz educator at the University of North Florida, now heading program at the Bolles School in Jacksonville, played with Ted in St. Augustine
Simon HutchingsSimon Hutchings  sax, flute, clarinet
Member of the Helios Saxophone Quartet, has played with Ted in Boca Raton, Tampa, Boca Grande, Lantana and St. Augustine since moving from Arizona to Florida in 2004.

Former director and lead trombonist for the Airmen of Note, the U.S. Air Force jazz band. Played with Ted in St. Augustine
