Dave Gibble
A terrifically talented jazz soloist, trumpet player David Gibble also
knows how to work within a band to bring out its best. 
Dave is the leader of the Palm Beach Community College jazz band. Ted Knight first heard him play when he did solos at a concert with the band. Ted loved what he heard, a rare combination of fire and brilliance with intelligent control.
Dave
is pictured at right on fluegelhorn. This is a warmer version of the
trumpet that's often featured on ballads. However, it can be just as
effective in a groove, or on a bossa nova like the audio link below.

left, Dave leads the trumpet section with Ted's big band at a concert in
Boca Raton.
